  1. Hi Karen - just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your presentation at Basingstoke last night. There were 3 of us from my library and I'm sure the whole train carriage can tell you how excited we were on the trip home! We're now planning our experiments and how best to use this technology to improve our service. I've blogged about the talk at swashford.blogspot.com - hope that's OK. Thank you for the inspiration, Sarah

  2. Hi Sarah,

Many thanks for the feedback. I've picked up on your blog and Blogrolled you! I also see that you followed up on the link in the handouts to Brian Kelly's posting on 'Where are the blogging UK librarians'. Brian's blog is a gold mine of information on what is going on in the HE and public sector in the UK.

  3. Thanks Karen - I thought I had Brian Kelly's blog in my Bloglines but it appears it got deleted during my ruthless Bloglines weed last month (trying to deny my RSS addiction!). I especially like his Blog experiments page as he gives some great feedback on widgets and blog formatting.

PS I was the possibly annoying one at the front with the laptop, hope my typing wasn't too loud.

  4. Hi Sarah,

Not annoying at all. One gets used to lots of people typing/blogging in the audience, especially at web 2.0 events.

    Hallo Karen

Have created the above blog as a tool for all members of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Sub Branch; after your wonderful presentation in Basingstoke we could not be without one!
